This site was created as a way for me to provide software development information to the community as well as to publicize my skills. I've tried to bring my own "common-sense" outlook to these articles. The software industry is too full of artificial black and white choices, too many individuals incapable or unwilling to participate in bigger picture thinking, and too little understanding that technology is a means to an end, not an end unto itself. I tend to avoid hard and fast rules and instead ask the reader to approach the various aspects of software development in an intelligent way.
